Watercolor Flowers In A Bowl

Alison 2016

I have been having great fun using the marker watercolor technique.  Just color directly onto the stamp with a water-based marker, stamp onto watercolor paper, brush on a little water to blend the colors, and you’re done!

The bowl stamp is from Stamps by Judith, #G-56 Medium Bowl.  The other stamps are from various watercolor sets from Art Impressions.  I love how versatile all of their watercolor stamps are, giving you endless possibilities with just a few sets!

I used the Marvy Le Plume II markers by Uchida.  I love that they have both a brush end and a fine point end.  The colors used here are #86 African Violet for the bowl, #72 Pine Green for the grass and vines, and #20 Magenta and #8 Violet for the flowers.

If you’re interested in learning more about this technique, please visit the Art Impressions You Tube channel for some awesome tutorials.

Hope you enjoyed today’s card!
