Wild Adventure Birthday Card

Today’s project is a card I made for my son’s 21st birthday last month.  It features the Tim Holtz Cityscapes stamps by Stampers Anonymous on the front.  The arrow dies are from Elizabeth Craft Designs and the words are Reverse Confetti dies.  The birds in flight stamp is from Stampscapes.

Below is what you see when you flip the front flap up:

Top Flap open

The Dream flap pulls down to reveal the inside with more images from the Cityscapes set, a Lili of the Valley stamp (Toot Toot!), more Elizabeth Craft Designs arrows and a Sizzix Happy Birthday To You die-cut:

And here is a view of the back side of the card:

The background on the Cityscapes panels was colored with Stampin’ Up inks Soft Sky, Marina Mist, Pacific Point, Dapper Denim, and Night of Navy.  Highlights and “stars” were added with a white gel pen.  I colored the Toot Toot! stamp image and some of the arrows with Chameleon Colored Pencils.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project–let’s make it a crafty week!

Midsummer’s Night Tag Card

I made this Tag Card using two of the dies from Poppy Stamps Main Street Tags set, Style 1266. The stamp is Lili of the Valley’s Midsummer’s Night ST500.

I made a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ side-folded card from black cardstock and cut it out with the largest die from the tag set.  (I positioned the die just to the left of the folded edge so that the fold wouldn’t be cut off when I ran it through my Big Shot.)

I used the next largest die from the tag set to cut two tags from white cardstock. Both tags were edged with Faded Jeans Distress Ink.

The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on one of the tags and then colored with Copic Markers. Sky: B000, B00, B01. Stars and Moon: Y17, Y18. Mushrooms: R05, R08. Mushroom Stems: YR24, E15. Skin: E000, E00, E02. Hair: E25, E31, E34. Headband: YG06. Dress: RV52, RV55. Wings: BV02, BV13, V04. Stockings: YG21, YG23. Grass: YG61, YG63. Ground: W-2, W-3.

The inside tag was colored with Tumbled Glass, Broken China, and Faded Jeans Distress Inks. The sentiment is from the Mo Manning stamp set “Wiz.”

A Uni-ball Signo White Pigment pen was used to add “stars” to the sky inside and out.

Thanks for visiting – please let me know what you think of the card.

Lili of the Valley Birthday Card

This birthday card features the Lili of the Valley stamp Annabel Upside Down #ST496 colored with Copic Markers.  The Candle Cupcake and Wishing Well stamps are from Stamps By Judith.  The tree die-cut was made with the  4 Seasons Tree Die available at http://www.PaperWishes.com.  I used a variety of other birthday themed stamps, stickers, and die-cuts to decorate the other pages. Most of the patterned paper is from the Doodlebug 6 x 6 Sugar Shoppe paper pad.

Let me know what you think and thanks for visiting!
