This anniversary card features the Stampin’ Up High Tide stamp set. My inspiration came from this great video tutorial by Tina Zinck–I just changed up some of the ink colors to utilize what I had on hand.
For the sky, I used Stampin’ Up Daffodil Delight, Rich Razzleberry, Cajun Craze, Night of Navy, Basic Black and Ranger Archival Sunflower inks.
The lighthouse was stamped in Stampin’ Up Basic Black and Cherry Cobbler inks. I used Stampin’ Up Basic Black for the birds and Stampin’ Up Tip Top Taupe and Sahara Sand for the rocks. I heat embossed the rock section before coloring in the water with Stampin’ Up Night of Navy. The water ripples were stamped with Colorbox Frost White pigment ink.
I created a reverse mask with the mountain die from Elizabeth Craft Designs’ Pop-It Up Western Edges and used Stampin’ Up Basic Black and a blending tool to “color in” the mountains in the background.
A piece of red and white baker’s twine finished off the panel which was then adhered to a red 5-1/2″ by 4-1/4″ card blank.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project and will give it a try for yourself!
